I feel sorry for the kids who spent a lot of time building those jumps. As a fellow rider I know how much work it takes to build something that nice. Riding there was always fun. At 31 years old heres what Ive learned about building jumps. " Its very important to get the people who live nearest where you plan on building your jumps to always see the positive side of the sport and what it can provide for the kids who live near your chosen spot". Always keep it CLEAN, DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE. Build jumps for all skill ranges and wide pathways for those in the area who also use it as a walking path. Once you gained the support of the older folks around the area, they will start backing you and help keep the jumps from getting bull dozed. Ive seen it work here in south lake tahoe maybe it can work in your town. RESPECT GETS RESPECT!!!

What?! Was it built by the city or something? If it's not on private property, why bulldoze it? Our community NEEDS more of these places for kids to do something cheap, constructive and outdoors. And we complain about kid's health these days. Amazing.
