Body found in Truckee River identified

RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Following an autopsy, the medical examiner's has released the name of the man found lying face down in the Truckee River near the intersection of Glendale Avenue and Galletti Way Sunday afternoon.
The man has been identified as 38-year-old Keith Hagar of Reno.
His death is still under investigation and suicide has not yet been ruled out as a cause-of-death.

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & - Members of the Sparks Fire Department pulled a body from the Truckee River just after 1:30 on Sunday afternoon.

According to fire officials, shortly after 1, a report was made that a person was lying face down in a portion of the river near Glendale Avenue. Upon their arrival crews found a body of an adult male who appeared to be deceased floating in the river.

The body was removed from the water and has been handed over to police who will complete an investigation.

The identity of the person found has not been released and the exact cause of death remains under investigation.
