Body found in swimming pool identified

SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Sparks Police detectives are investigating the accidental drowning that took place in Sparks Sunday afternoon and have release the name of the victim.
   
The owner of a home on the 3400-block of Gwynelle Court found 31-year-old Kristen Denler lying unresponsive in the home's pool around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
   
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
   
Officers say alcohol may be a factor in her drowning.




SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - A body of a woman has been found in a swimming pool at a residence in Sparks Sunday afternoon.  Members of the Sparks Police Department responded to the call after the homeowner located the female, who rents the property, in the swimming pool at the residence.

According to Sparks Police, the unidentified 31-year-old woman, was determined deceased on scene.

According to homeowners, the female did speak with family and friends the previous evening.  Sparks Police say foul play and suicide are not considered a factor in this incident.

The case is currently under investigation and is pending an autopsy by the Washoe County Medical Examiner's office.  The identity of the female will not be released at this time and alcohol is a possible factor in this incident.
