RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The turmoil continues for embattled Assemblyman Steven Brooks.

Sources tell News 4's Anjeanette Damon the assemblyman was kicked out of the Johnny Rockets restaurant inside the Grand Sierra Resort Friday night.

Brooks tells Damon he was recognized because of the "bad press" he's been getting, and was told to leave.

Brooks has been banned from the legislative building and is on paid administrative leave until a select committee hears evidence on whether he is fit to serve in the legislature.

According to the Las Vegas Sun, the Grand Sierra Resort has yet to respond to the comments.

He (Mr. Brooks) should be expelled for his rash behavior. There are consequences for his behavior and he is should be held accountable for his behavior. He has behaved irrational and as I said he is responsibility to answer to those actions. He has dishonored his constituents and now they have no voice so who will sit in his seat since he is incapable of being in these proceedings?
