Black Rock City, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The roads leading to the Burning Man festival are now open.

According to Burning Man Traffic's official twitter feed: "BM gate & all roads to BM are open as of 6 AM. Wadsworth to 8 Mile entrance running at 1:42. No backup at gate."

Rainstorms in the Black Rock Desert forced Burning Man officials to shut down the festival's main entrance Monday, leading to thousands of burners who arrived at the Reno-Tahoe International airport with nowhere to go.

Airport officials organized special hotel rates for the evening for stranded burners -- Burning Man ends September 1.

OH BOY! SO now all the filthy little mudbugs that trash our entire area will be even dirtier than normal with the mud from Monday. That just means they will leave more dirt and filth and clog more carwash drains than ever before. PLEASE take your filthy event back to Kalifornicatia where it belongs.
