SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Deputy Sheriff David Hanks' first love in life was cars, so in honor of his motorcycle accident last week which resulted in his death, Summit Racing of Sparks & A Bomb Entertainment will be hosting a car show memorial in his memory.

The David Hanks Car Show Memorial will be held at Summit Racing in Sparks on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 am.

Car participants are being asked to donate $20.00 (but not required) with all proceeds going to his wife, Terri, and his two children, Daniel & Cydnie.

In typical car show fashion, trophies and prizes will be awarded at the car show memorial. For further information or, if you would like to help out or donate prizes, please contact Paul Sampson of A Bomb Entertainment at 775-291-5008.
