RENO, Nev. (Mynews4.com & KRNV) - A traffic accident involving a power pole has left approximately 400 residents without power. A car struck a power pole on Kietzke Lane just after 2 p.m., shutting down both northbound and south bound lanes between Plumb and Vassar.

The Reno Police Department said that NV Energy should have it repaired in the next 2-3 hours. Neighborhoods on either side of Kietzke will be out of power until then. NV Energy is trying to re-route power north of Vassar to get electricity to local businesses.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
