UPDATE: 12:15 - According to a school police sergeant, there are two juveniles that have been detained by school police. One was a student and was stopped within 100 feet of Hug High, and had a bb gun on him, but it has not been confirmed he was student of Hug. The other juvenile detained was at Sonic and had a gun on him, but it's also not confirmed he was student at Hug.
The Code Yellow has been lifted at Hug High School.
UPDATE - 11:45AM - News 4 Photographer Jeff Deitch on the scene says a handgun has been located in a dumpster.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Hug High School is on Code Yellow lock down and Washoe County Police have detained one subject. The school remain on Code Yellow lock down until they have everyone responsible, according to Vicki Campbell with Washoe County School District.
Washoe County School Police say the subject was detained off school grounds after someone seeing this person with a weapon in the area of Hug High School.
Police haven’t been able to locate the weapon, and no one was injured or hurt.
