RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- It's a regular fiesta at Redfield Promenade, as a new Mexican restaurant opened its doors on Thursday.
Costa Vida held a grand opening for their second Nevada location, on Kietzke Lane and South Virginia Street. The menu is inspired by the surfing culture and local cuisine of the Baja Peninsula coast.
The first 30 people in line at the grand opening received one free meal per week for the next year. "I was out and about anyway, getting coffee," said Jim Cooper, who was first in line. "So I checked it out to see if it was busy and it turned out that they weren't very busy (that early)."
For those who didn't quite make it in time to be in the top 30, they were also given free meal certificates for future visits.
