Sparks, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)--An intersection in the Lemmon Valley area has been closed for an investigation into a crash that left three hospitalized on March 30th.

According to police, the accident took place around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lemmon and Military roads. One victim of the crash was airlifted from the accident for treatment, while two more were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown. Officials confirm that some of the victims are minors, but have not released the identities of anyone involved in the crash at this time.

Police say the cause of the crash is unknown, but that alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

Officials on scene said the investigation into the crash could continue to as late as four or five p.m. this afternoon. Both Military and Lemmon Valley roads near the intersection will remain closed for the duration of the investigation.

News Four will have more on this crash as it becomes available.
