RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- An overnight robbery and police pursuit has left one man missing.

According to the Reno Police Department, the incident began at Walden's Coffehouse on Mayberry Drive at around 1 a.m. on Tuesday. When officers arrived on the scene, they spotted a suspicious individual on a bicycle. The individual fled the scene when approached.

Officers pursued the potential suspect into a neighborhood near Mayberry Drive and McCarran Boulevard. The individual ran into the Truckee River and officers say they never saw the person get out of the water.

Raven was called in to give air support during the search. Also, the Reno Fire Department launched multiple boats into the water with search crews to look for the potential suspect.

Reno Police Lieutenant Robert Larson says the main concern for the individual is the hypothermia due to the frigid early morning temperatures. Officials have also confirmed the burglary at Walden's Coffeehouse, and the investigation is ongoing.
