Troopers have notified the victim's family and have identified him as 46-year-old John Randall Boggs of Carson City.
Troopers are still on the lookout for the missing hit and run vehicle and are asking for any witnesses to this crime to step forward.
Carson City, Nev. (KRNV & mynews4.com) Trooper Chuck Allen with the Nevada Highway Patrol says one person is dead after a hit and run and the suspect is still on the loose.
He says the pedestrian was hit Friday morning February 8, 2013 on State Street at East William Street in Carson City.
Trooper chuck says the suspect was driving a silver Toyota, 4-runner.
