RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A California man is dead after a single vehicle rollover this morning about 29 miles east of Fernley.
The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the crash about 8:30 a.m., according to a Nevada Highway Patrol press release.
The preliminary crash investigation shows the man was driving a 2003 Silver Nissan Murano was traveling west on I-80. The SUV crossed into the median and rolled several times. The cause is unknown.
The driver was pronounced deceased on scene. His name will be released after the next-of-kin have been notified. No one else was in the car.
The Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is investigating the accident. Anyone with additional information should contact Trooper Scott Morron at 775-689-4623.
