RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Reno Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision that left a woman dead.

According to Sergeant Brian Adamson, the crash happened around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, just south of the Kings Row intersection along Keystone Avenue. A red car was traveling southbound on Keystone when an SUV rear-ended the red car, causing it to be pushed into oncoming traffic. The red car struck another vehicle head-on.

The driver of the red car was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Adamson said the deceased driver may have had a medical event as a result of the collision. Alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor.
