Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)--Reno Police are currently investigating a pair of drive-by shootings that occured early this morning on the 300 block of Broadway Blvd.

According to Reno Police Lt. Mohammad Rafaqat, the first shooting occurred after 1 a.m., and a second shooting at about 3 a.m. Although two houses were struck in the drive-by, no one was injured. There were occupants in one home that was hit, but the other home hit was unoccupied.

Rafaqat said that police are trying to identify what the motivation was and who was involved, but says that they don't believe it was random and that it's too early to determine if it's gang related.

is "shooting into an UNoccuoppied dwelling" a lesser offense than into an occupied one?

The police officer said "it's too early to tell if it's gang related". I'm sorry but a drive-by shooting that IS NOT gang-related is about as rare as unicorns.
