Employees of an engineering lab in North Reno have been evacuated and sent home for the day after a fire broke out in the lithium storage room.
According to emergency personnel at the scene, no lithium was in the storage room when the fire broke out. The building is home to Kappes, Cassiday & Associates, an engineering lab where chemicals are made for mining.
