SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A large portion of those affected by Tuesday's power outage in Sparks found themselves without power again on Wednesday.
According to Faye Anderson with NV Energy, 7,500 Sparks residents lost power at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday. The original cause was announced as being due to several trees being blown into power lines near Wedekind Road. However, NV Energy later corrected the reason to equipment failure.
NV Energy cleared the trees and restored power just after 7 p.m.
