Hawthorne, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- The two inmates who escaped from the Mineral County Jail last night have been found and are being booked back into the jail on multiple charges.
Mineral County District Attorney, Sean Rowe tells News 4 that a resident in Hawthorne found the two inmates in a shed and then called authorities.
Deputies had to chase the inmates on foot before catching them a short time later around 7:30p.m. tonight, May 2, 2013.
18-year-old Shaiitarrio Brown and 20-year-old Devonte Williams now both face a felony escape charge, conspiracy to escape charge and resisting arrest.
The escape is still under investigation. It is unknown at this time if they had been plotting with anyone outside of the jail prior to escaping.
HAWTHORNE, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Mineral County District Attorney's Office issued a statement today asking for the public's help in finding two inmates who escaped from Mineral County Jail on May 1.
According to the DA's Office, 18-year-old Shaiitarrio Brown and 20-year-old Devonte Williams escaped from custody around 9:30 p.m.
Brown had previously been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and had been ordered into a supervised diversion program. Williams was being held for a sentence on a conviction of domestic battery and is pending extradition to San Pablo, California on charges of Burglary and Failure to Appear.
Brown is described as a six foot tall, 185 pound black male with black hair and brown eyes. Williams is described as a five foot seven inch tall, 145 pound black male with black hair and brown eyes.
The Mineral County District Attorney's Office believes that these individuals may be in the Northern Nevada region and that Williams may be dangerous and should not be approached.
