Fallon Police continue missing child search

FALLON, Nev. (Mynews4.com & KRNV) -- Police are continuing their search for a 14-year-old girl who was allegedly taken by her father.

Fallon Police say the girl was picked up from her mother's house on Saturday night by her father, Inshan "Shan" Ross and never returned. Officials say the child's mother has been in contact with the father, who said that he would not return the child. They believe Ross could be hiding in Reno.

Shan Ross is described as a white male, 6-0 tall, and weighs about 236 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He may be driving a silver 1990's Honda Accord with unknown California license plates.

The girl is described as a white female, 5-0 tall, and 80 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have any information on their whereabouts, you are asked to call local police, or Secret Witness at 322-4900.

This little girl was taken by her FATHER -- why couldn't you post PHOTOS for people to refer to in the search for them rather than vague descriptions? It's not like her mother wouldn't have any. Frankly, I find this to be LAZY REPORTING.
