TRUCKEE, Calif. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- An update on the contaminated water reported at the Tahoe Keys Marina shows the levels of fecal matter are up to twice the recommended levels, according to the Lahontan water board.

The warning comes just days after News 4 spoke with officials on-site about a fifteen-gallon sewage leak from a restaurant into the lake over the weekend. The board says anyone who comes in contact with the water should wash their hands well afterwards. The board plans more tests in the days ahead.

Okay-who's been pooping in the water? I'll bet someone's been emptying the waste tanks of their boats into the lake while berthed. BAD FORM!!
