RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A Fernley man has been arrested for coercion and enticement of a minor after being caught by an officer with the FBI arranging a time and place to receive sexual acts from a young girl.

Vincent Fasone, 43, used the name "guysmiley" online in chat rooms, according to court documents. An officer with the FBI created a profile and used it in the chat room Fasone was in, asking if anyone in Nevada or Sacramento wanted to hang out. Fasone messaged the profile the officer on Sept. 11, 2012. The officer was pretending to be the father of a seven-year-old female, and said his daughter had a 12-year-old babysitter. Court documents indicate Fasone was interested in the 12-year-old, saying he once was with a 10-year-old in Asia and received oral sex. Fasone told the officer to leave the seven-year-old at home and bring the 12-year-old babysitter to meet in person because he "wanted to have some fun."

They met Sept. 20 at the shopping center at Vista Boulevard and D'Andrea Parkway in Sparks. Fasone asked the officer if he was a cop and began to discuss children, saying "I don't want this to be a Chris Hansen thing," referencing To Catch a Predator, according to court documents.

Fasone followed the officer to his apartment in Reno where he was subsequently taken into custody.

Fasone is in custody at Washoe County Jail and his preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 5.
