HASKELL PEAK, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Sierra Front is reporting that a two to three acre fire is burning near Haskell Peak in California, west of the Nevada/California state line.

The fire started last night, when there was an abundance of lightning strikes in the area.

This area has very rugged terrain, and no structures are threatened.

Sierra Front has dispatched two single engine air tankers to help contain the blaze and assess the situation.
