WASHINGTON (AP) -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is in the hospital for observation after not feeling well over night.

Aides to the Nevada Democrat have released a statement. It says Reid felt unwell early Friday and went to the hospital.

Aides say tests revealed nothing wrong, but he'll stay in the hospital for observation.

Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois opened session Friday saying he talked to Reid and the majority leader feels good.

The 74-year-old Reid suffered a mild stroke in 2005.

I don't hate Harry. But if he croaks, stuff him and stand him on a pedestal in Salt Lake City in the place of the statue of Moroni. He's to old for the seat he is taking up and needs to retire.

In THIS case,I'd say people in Nevada are hateful because we're so tired of the Nation's low-information voters constantly blaming the voters of Nevada for Reid still being in power. Those of us who believe in our Country's health and in continuing to strengthen America rather than making it the world's biggest welfare state fought against his election and re-election. Truth is that we all fought Reid's re-election tooth-n-nail,as hard as we could fight legally, but you just can't defeat a candidate who will use every means of lies, misdirection, disinformation and fraud and every other dirty trick in the play-book to stay in office, and will use exactly the same level of low-grade politics to ruin the greatest Country in the world. He's a Progressive (Socialist) Democrat-that's his job. As with the alleged president,I don't hate him at all-I hate his oppressive agenda, his methods of political thuggery and his anti-American ideals. I sincerely hope Mr. Reid is physically right as rain and leaves the Hospital with a perfect bill of health. Then,I hope he resigns from the Senate and moves to another Country far,far away from here. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it,and have a great 2014 to those who don't.

If this were a conservative politician who was ill this comment section would be filled with venom from the neo-sosh, democrat-progressives... the real haters in our society. I don't hate Harry even if he is a corrupt politician. I don't wish him any ill will. May God have mercy on him. See the difference?
