You are blaming the Sheriff ??, surely you jest.. A homeowner is taken over by a perp, tied up house gone through and gets himself untied and fires shots at a car speeding away.. and you blame the Sheriff..?? The Sheriffs dept was on it as soon as it came in... more reason for us to keep and learn how to use firearms... Not the first and won't be the last, and if the guy is caught you can believe Storey County will do its job...

Um....something doesn't smell right. the MALE homeowner was tied up but able to fire at the perp? Methinks this is a bad cover-up...

The Sheriff's Office is doing what they can to find this guy. For Helen's info the Sheriff posted deputies at the schools and I believe he also had the deputies follow the school buses as they dropped the children off.

Good that the victim was able to fire on the criminal, but really-5 to 5 shots, and he possibly hit a door? He should have been able to put "4 or 5" holes in the car,if not the driver, making it easier to recognize.

It was a guy that was injured in the invasion. The sheriff completely failed the county on notifying parents whose children were being released from school a little after the sheriff new this guy was on the run. Second time in a month the sheriff has failed to lock down the school. He has told one parent "what would you like me to", what about a protocol. Do not re-elect, the is appalling.

Who was this woman who was tied up? Where was the guy while she was tied up and the house was being tossed? Sure are a whole lot of holes in this story!
