As the pool of money increases the prices increase faster. Look at housing and education for two examples. For the Reno area there is a near monopoly by Renown. You try to tell me that they are not going to gouge as high a price as they can.

OK, here's THE clue: consumer driven health care is about 180 degrees opposite of ACA / Obamacare where we hunt down street people and insist they have surgery, treatment, prescriptions paid for by the taxpayers via medicaid.

When will the media cover CONSUMER DRIVEN hc insurance? The State went with that a few years ago and is SAVING MEGA MILLIONS--instead of employees paying a $20 copay for self and dependents for each visit, they cover the entire doctor visit--except that preventive care is insurance-paid 100%--vaccines, physicals.... AND the employer puts $700 per employee (more for seniors) and $200-$400 per dependent onto an HSA debit card--so you can pay your medical costs and RX's up to that. Then you cover up to your annual maximum of about $1900. So an employee that has a sickly year would pay $1900-700 or $1200 for illnesses, injuries, procedures.... Anyhow, the state cut costs so much that they've given "bonuses" above the $700 annual to your debit card.

Griffin: You "need" prenatal so you can subsidize the illegals chucking out anchor babies and the unwed moms having kids as a career.

So where is the quote from Senator Harry who says we're all trying to pay more money in taxes, more money, more money?

My boyfriend is frustrated at his health insurance because they're negotiators on "the best price" for procedures. He keeps asking them "do I have health insurance? What am I paying for? Doesn't seem like I have any." And get this. If you don't have insurance you pay a lower price for procedures. Why? Most medical facilities are raping the insurance companies.

And young men are up over 300%. Why do they need maternity, prenatal, and all that?? Everyone has to have all of those and it makes No sense for men to have it on their single policy. This fiasco has removed our right to pick and choose what parts we will need.

It's great how so many people think that if you qualify for the Obamacare subsidies, you're somehow getting something for nothing. Those subsidies have to come from somewhere too, and once again, it's the taxpayer. Notice that the administration is now saying (about the website failure) that, "If it's broke, fix it.", when they did just the opposite when they decided to throw away a health care system with flaws and replace it with one that would cost a lot more and would be filled with corruption and selective distribution. The left is also criticizing Republicans for not lending a helping hand to get the problems straightened out, when all they really want to do is have someone to share the blame with. Right now the Democrats own the whole mess, law or not.
