RENO, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- Liberace's former chauffeur and alleged ex-lover, Scott Thorson is currently in Washoe County Jail and is due to appear in Reno Justice Court tomorrow on burglary and other charges.
Entertainment Tonight has confirmed with News 4 that Thorson, who was Liberace's alleged ex-lover and is the subject of a HBO upcoming film about Liberace, is in Washoe County Jail.
Reno Police Lt. Mohammad Rafaqat said that police were investigating a wallet reported lost or stolen. Police were able to track the use of the victim's credit cards in the wallet, which brought them to a hotel in Reno. Reno Police say Thorson was using the credit cards in the victim's wallet and was found to be renting a room at a hotel in Reno with one of the cards. Police located Thorson at the hotel and arrested him on February 22.
Thorson, who also goes by the alias Jess Marlow, was booked on four counts of first degree burglary, four counts of using a credit/debit/ID card without consent, three counts of obtaining or possessing a credit/debit card without cardholder's consent, one count of obtaining or using other person's ID for harmful/unlawful purpose, two counts of obtaining money/property/labor under false pretenses for $650 and one count of obtaining money/property/labor under false pretenses for over $650.
Thorson (Marlow), declined an interview with News 4 through the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. He is set to appear in Reno Justice Court at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow.
