Lightning sets fire to home in South Reno

Reno, NV (KRNV&MYNEWS4.COM)--A lightning strike set fire to a home on Lemke Court in South Reno late Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the scene around 3:50pm where flames could be scene engulfing the attic.

The homeowner tells News 4 she heard thunder and noticed her electronics go haywire but did not think anything of it. Shortly after, her neighbors were pounding on the door alerting her about the fire after they called 911.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported and a cat was rescued from the second floor of the home.

According to one firefighter, this is only the third lightning caused home fire he has scene in the past 17 years.

Good story, however after reading the story,I noticed the misuse of the word "scene" and thought the editor should edit this piece again.
