UPDATE - 2:40PM - Reno Police say they received a call from police in Fremont, CA around 11:30am this morning, about a missing endangered person who may have had guns and was suicidal. Fremont Police found his cell phone location in the National Guard parking lot on Plumb Lane.
Reno Police called the National Guard to let them know, and they placed themselves on lockdown as a precaution and notified Little Flower Elementary (who they share a parking lot with), who also placed themselves on a Code Red lockdown.
The school is no longer on lockdown and there were no specific threats made.
Reno Police say they weren’t able to locate the missing endangered person.
UPDATE - 1:30PM - Little Flower says they are in Code Yellow lockdown, and will dismiss students at the normal dismissal time.
Students will remain inside for now as a precautionary measure.
UPDATE - 1:25PM - According to April Conway with the National Guard, Reno Police alerted the National Guard Center on Plumb Lane that there might be a person of interest possibly heading there because he has military ties.
National Guard is taking precautionary measures, saying it's better to be safe than sorry.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Little Flower is currently on Code Red Lockdown, according to a spokesman at Little Flower.
Little Flower says the lock down is due to an incident at the National Guard. The National Guard says they are not allowed to talk about the incident.
No other information is being released at this time.
