LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles man reaching for a beer has been crushed by a falling refrigerator.
Assistant chief coroner Ed Winter tells KCBS-TV that the man was getting a beer from a garage refrigerator on New Year's Day when the appliance fell on him.
The man, who was in his 60s, was dead at the scene. His name hasn't been released.
