Man who murdered woman and buried her in yard sentenced today

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The man who murdered a woman and than buried her in his backyard in December learned his fate today.

Washoe County 2nd Judicial Court reports, this morning, Thomas Brant was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 20 years. According to the Washoe County District Attorney's Office, the victim, Kimberly Seaton, was reported missing on Dec. 7, 2012 and found buried in a shallow grave in Brant's backyard three days later.
