RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Authorities say they've found two adults and four children who've been missing in the frigid mountains of northern Nevada since Sunday.

Pershing County sheriff's officials say the adults and children were being taken to Pershing General Hospital after they were found Tuesday. All were in good condition.

Temperatures in the nearby town of Lovelock dipped to 16 degrees below during the search.

Crews launched a search Sunday night for 34-year-old James Glanton, his 25-year-old girlfriend, Christina McIntee, and the four children: a 10-year-old, two 4-year-olds and a 3-year-old.

Officials say the group went to the Seven Troughs area Sunday to play in the snow, but never returned home.

This guy was a stupid irresponsible idiot for having that many people in a jeep!! And to go out into the boonies to play in the snow in sub zero temps!! There was snow all over the state why not stay closer to home! Quit praising him and he should have his butt chewed for what occurred!!!!

Because good people risk their lives to help and save people that do stupid things like this. They take away resources when there is a real emergency. Not a stupid act for attention.

Stop sounding like jerks. Six people were found safe and sound. Why can't you just be happy? Your life is not everyone's reality.---- We are all happy that this family is back where they need to be. Home. Where the hearth is warm and there is always...pie. yeah... Glad you're back. welcome home.

Good to see that everyone came out ok. But me thinks it smells fishy here. No one hurt when the jeep rolled? And I doubt that everyone was wearing belts since there wasn't enough. No frostbite at all? Fire but couldn't find them? 25 miles isn't that far to start walking out the next day for the man to do and probably run across some searchers? Walking and found them? When Helos, ATVs, vehicles didn't? Got to throw the BS flag on that one too!

Glad everyone is ok, but what about the fact that that Jeep isn't legal to hold 2 adults and 4 children, 3 of which would require car seats? Also two separate witnesses report reckless driving before the family disappeared. Preventable situation?

Wonderful news. I'm sure we'll find out what happened after they have had a chance to warm up an reunite with their families. God Bless.

I would like to know more about what happened? Why didn't they come back when expected? Did they break down? Did they have enough food with them? Geez, tell us more. I'm glad they were found, and grateful to the rescuers, but sure wish they'd tell us the full story!

I sure hope that Jeep isn't an actual picture of what they were driving...two adults and four children would never fit!

Other sources say the group had a fire to keep them warm. Further, that the Sheriff helicopter had an infrared detection device. Why didn't it find the fire? Was it searching in another area out of range? Thanks to all the searchers on the ground! Tough terrain with all the snow and bitter cold.
