SUSANVILLE, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Susanville Police Department says they have found the boy reported missing last night.
The boy was reported missing around 7:30pm. Officers spoke with the missing juvenile’s mother who reported that her 10-year-old son went to an unknown friend’s house at approx.. 3pm and was supposed to return home at 5pm but failed to do so.
The incident was posted on Facebook by a family member seeking the public’s assistance and many people posted responses in support of the juvenile’s family as well as any information that they thought might be useful to the search.
Police say the missing boy was dropped off near his residence at 11pm by the mother of his friend after she discovered that the juvenile was still at her house playing with her son. She had gone to bed and was unaware that the child was still at her residence, nor was she aware of the massive search for the boy.
