MOUND HOUSE, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Officials will be cleaning up at the site of a fire that destroyed a mobile home early Monday morning in Lyon County. Officials said this fire was particularly hard to fight, not only because there was a live power-line and natural gas line in the yard, but wind contributed as a factor.

The fire that started at 9:45 a.m. Monday burned a vehicle in addition to the triple-wide trailer. Officials say neighbors heard a loud explosion, and of the four people in the residence at the time, two were transported for either burns or smoke inhalation. The other two made it out safe, and so did the resident pets, Lyon County Fire said.
