Mother heading to court, arrested for threats against WCSD Principal

Thank you!! I feel very personally about this situation and strongly urge Dylan be removed from the classroom until he can control his disability. If it was my child I would not expect 30 kids to be cheated out of their education because of one child. He needs a separate learning environment. He does not have the capability to be integrated into the regular school system. This child is in my daughters class and disrupts the classroom almost daily. It worries me that my daughters whole classroom has to be evacuated for their safety. Doug Parry states they are not in danger than please explain why they are evacuated regularly for their safety. This boy has punched my daughter for her touching his arm. THE ACTING PRINCIPAL MADE AN EXCUSE FOR DYLAN AND BLAMED MY DAUGHTER. Had I been aware of Dylan's typical behavior I would NEVER have excepted this as her reasoning. DYLAN DOES NOT BELONG IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM!!!!!He needs help, personal one on one help. Maybe start by taking him away from his mother. She does not seem to be setting a good example. Why is Mr. Valier being punished for a child who is totally out of control??? BRING MR. VALLIER BACK!!!!!! The kids loved him and he did a GREAT job!!!

Sounds like this kid has some issues and it is selfish to have him destroy what his other peers and teachers are working to accomplish. Bring back that principal and ship off those ticking timebomb parents and kid to a specialized institution that can handle this kid the old fashioned way like in a more strict way. "Tough guy" husband should get a freaking clue as to what if kind of wife he has if she goes around and threatens school staff that he is going to start kickin' arses if their out of control kid is the problem here. Kind of makes it clearer to see where this kid gets his behavior issues from...you think? What a freaking joke and just think how many resourse dollars with replacement administrators, school staff. school police, and media coverage this has wasted so far. Oh it's not little "out of controls" fault it is the schools fault, or MY fault that their kid is the problem!

I am an active parent volunteer at DDES. I can tell you that the staff involved with Mrs. Brown's son try as hard as they can to deal with her son's learning disability. I have witnessed teachers moving their class to a safer location and to keep them from witnessing the violent outbursts he has. The staff that is called in to help try to calm him down, counselor, principle (acting), and school police are patient and kind to him and stay with him until he calms down. The two outbursts I personally witnessed, her son destroyed his classroom. Student work, art work, pencils, crayons, glitter and sparkels were everywhere. On a seperate occasion I was walking down the hall only to see all the 1st and 2nd art work ripped from the walls and crumpled on the ground. On both ocasions, as I helped his disheveled teacher clean up, I noticed she looked helpless. ALL she has the power to do is make sure her students are safely removed from the classroom (on a pretty regular basis) until he done with his outburst. Then she cleans up the mess he caused. I don't know what happened with Mr. Vallier and Mrs. Brown but I can tell you with confidence that the staff is doing everything they can. Its my humble opintion that public school may not be the best option for her son right now. There are many other eductional options that he could benefit from. Sorry if this it a rant but I know the staff, including Mr. Vallier, and I don't know why Mrs. Brown would be angry with them. Maybe angry and very frustrated with the situation but I saw nothing but kindness from his teachers and all those who help try to make it better. The staff at DDES is second to none! I have never met more dedicated, caring teachers. My oldest son went from K-5th and will move on to Dipoli and I my youngest just started kindergarden. NEVER had a problem with any of the staff. I really hope this gets settled, my kids miss their principle.
