UPDATE - 5:45PM - NHP says as of 4:35, the crash has been cleared and all roads are back open.



RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Mt. Rose Highway at Mile Marker 9 is blocked off and closed temporarily as there are two separate crashes blocking traffic heading eastbound and westbound, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

NHP says one crash is on State Route 431 and involves two vehicles. NHP says it appears to be non-injury.

Another is on Mt. Rose Highway, near State Route 431, and also involves two vehicles. NHP says there are injuries sustained in this one.

Tow trucks are on the scene and are hoping to have the scene cleared soon. We will have more information as it becomes available.
