I have watched these horse roam down my street for the past year. They are beautiful and I miss them. Please let us know what happens to them. I feel like a part of my family has been stolen from me.

What's going to happen is a significant issue. At the present time the department transports the horses to the Stewart Conservation Camp in Carson City. Later they will be hauled to Fallon where they will go to the livestock sale at Nevada Livestock Marketing on Allen Rd. Unlike BLM horses, the slaughter buyers can have a go at obtaining the Virginia Range horses for their trade.
