Reno, NV (KRNV & One man has been arrested after a three hour standoff that locked down a Sun Valley neighborhood.

According to police, at around 10 am on Saturday, April 21st, Washoe County Deputies were called to Yukon Drive in Sun Valley on reports of assault with a firearm. When they arrived, they were informed that suspect Jose Carrillo-Ceballos had fled to his truck in a trailer part on West 5th Avenue near Sun Valley Boulevard.

Deputies surrounded the trailer and called him out. One man then left the trailer, and confirmed that Carrillo-Ceballos was inside the trailer, and that he had a second person with him. Deputies say that upon learning this, they began to approach this as a hostage situation, and evacuated the trailer park and locked down the surrounding neighborhood. Eventually the second occupant left the trailer. He was unharmed.

After about three hours Carrillo-Ceballos surrendered to deputies.

He was booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Burglary, Child Endangerment, and Domestic Battery. His bail is set at $83,000.
