Our veterans are blocked from their WWII memorial, but the Park Service has OKed a demonstration in the "closed" DC mall area for a group of illegal immigration amnesty supporters. How's that for saying "thank you" to our veterans. If you remember the Park Service is under orders from Demandro Obama to "make it hurt"!

Thank you, NOT Republican. You are losing a life time Republican to your hissy fit on not getting your way. The Republican party is just turned in the little kid that does not get what they want. All you can say is: NO,NO,No.

Teed; You must be referring to the DemocRats. I've yet to find a Republican OR a Tea Party voter who would consider locking our Veterans out of their OWN Memorial. THAT BRILLIANT MOVE IS ALL ON REID AND OBAMA.

The entire congress and house should be fired. All are corrupt and the sleaze factor is over the top. None are concerned about fixing the problems they only want to create more bureaucracy to deal with the problems they have created. Their ONLY goal is to have their lazy, do-nothing bureaucratic behinds re-elected so they don't have to get real jobs. They should be the ones laid off not the person making $15.00/hour.

Well you people shouldn't have voted for the Tea Party Congressmen. The Republican Party lost seats in the House, seats in the Senate and they lost the presidency. So since they can't have their way versus what the majority of the people VOTED FOR, they throw a hissy fit.

This report says memorial is blocked. The very Next News4 report says vets get into memorials. Did someone forget to update this article, or did they really not get to see their memorials.

So it should be that they can't have an assigned VOLUNTEER to open the gate to let our Veterans in? Shouldn't they have that in place just in case for the sissy shutdowns? I'm sure someone would have volunteered with honor.

Break down that wall, this is America. Please, can the revolution start now?

Wonder where Harry Reid was while this was happening. Of course he couldn't be bothered to intercede for the Veterans, either at the Memorial or in the Senate to vote in favor of getting them their pay/benefits. Wonder if he realizes how many veterans are living way below the poverty level on GI Bill benefits while trying to get an education and keep a family together?
