RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A new report says Nevada's population is expected to pass the three million mark by 2019.

According to the state demographer's office, Clark County should top two million people by the end of next year, and Washoe County will likely reach half a million by 2031. That growth is expected to come from more children rather than migration from other states and countries.

If the growth in population is going to be from biths and not migration then the politicians need to start funding education a lot better than they have been doing over he past 15 years. With 1st and second grade class sizes in excess of 40 students n WCSD where will we put all the new growth of students ??? either redistrict, or build more schools. Hire enough GOOD teachers and pay them a decent wage so we wont get behind like we have been for so many years
