RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) – Nevadans will rally and march on what is called 'May Day' for immigration reform and worker's rights Wednesday at the Reno City Plaza at 3:30 p.m.

A coalition of several groups and organizations in Northern Nevada, allies, families and the Latino/immigrant communities will march and rally to demand Congress to work diligently to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform this year. The theme of the march will be "time in now" for immigration reform.

Last week a bipartisan group of eight U.S. Senators known as the "Gang of Eight" released its 844-page immigration bill.
This legislation includes a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently living in the U.S., will create a program of temporal workers, and enhance national security.

Rallies are expected to take place across more than 100 cities.
