I've known the family for 30 years, and I know that the man has PTSD from serving our country that went untreated because of the sad state of our country's health care system, especially for vets...it's sad. I'm not excusing what he did however if there was some kind of help available to the family after he returned from war, maybe this wouldn't have happened. I pray that everyone gets what they need and we start looking at treating people with mental health issues before something like this happens to more innocent people.
