CARSON CITY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- More details are surfacing about accusations against the former director of a Carson City counseling center.
This case has been under investigation for months, and the Carson City Sheriff's Office recently finished up its investigation. The Carson City District Attorney is not filing charges at this point.
But News 4 found some of the allegations are pretty alarming. They are spelled out in the incident report we obtained from the Carson City Sheriff's Office, and include lewdness, battery and sexual assault.
The alleged victims were employees, clients or parents of clients of Erik Badgett, the former director of the Family Guidance and Wellness Network. One of his former employees who began working at the center in December 2012 told an investigator that Badgett sexually assaulted her in the office on two occasions, stating one day, "Erik turned her around and bent her over the sink, pulled her pants down and raped her."
Others told investigators they were sexually harrassed by Badgett on a regular basis, though some could not remember exact dates or times. Investigators did speak with Badgett as part of this investigation, and he denied the allegations, according to the report.
The Carson City District Attorney said there is not enough proof to file any charges at this time. But Badgett is also under investigation by the Nevada Attorney General's office, and has been charged with several counts of Medicaid fraud.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest, in connection with that part of the investigation.
