CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)--Although there was a small turnout in Carson City, several people voiced their opinions on the driver authorization cards available for those in the country illegally starting next year.
One opinion several shared was the look of the authorization cards, because there will be differences from the Nevada driver's license. Some felt it could be used as to discriminate against the card holders.
Though that wasn't one of the regulations on the agenda, they felt they wanted that point made for the record.
For the regulations that were proposed, like the documentation they'll accept during the application process, and the changes to the translation requirements, it brought mixed feelings.
Officials from the DMV say it's important to hear every concern.
