Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- Nevada Highway Patrol has reported that a woman has died after allegedly attempting to cross US 395 last night.
According to their statement on the accident, at around 9:20 p.m. NHP was called to reports of an accident in the southbound lane of US 395 near the Lemmon Valley exit north of Reno.
Troopers say that a 2005 white BMW driven by Reno resident Joyce So struck a young woman who was attempting to cross the freeway. She was pronounced dead on scene. Her name has not been released pending next of kin notification.
