My husband and I drove by this incident just moments after it occurred--the police hadn't even arrived, yet. We speculated that the woman must have been hit by the vehicle in the left lane because there were no signs of a vehicular crash. This poor woman was hit so hard she was missing the shoe and sock from one of her feet. This is so sad...what in God's name is a person doing crossing an interstate highway in that kind of darkness? So very sad...

Here NV4 uses "allegedly" yet, they don't bother when it is a person arrested or suspected; this is a constitutionally-protected provision that most media observe. && in this 'report" NV4 (as usual) parrots "authorities", NHP doesn't even use 'allegedly'. i'm all, Like, lookitup!
