Pedestrian sent to hospital after possible hit and run in Carson City

CARSON CITY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- According to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong, a pedestrian was hit by a car shortly after noon on Tuesday at Corbett and Stewart streets in Carson City; the vehicle sped away and fled the scene.

The victim was then flown by Care Flight to the trauma unit at Renown Medical Center in Reno; the condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time.

The Carson City Sheriff's Office is looking for a blue or silver late 1990s Oldsmobile Cutlass with a partial California license plate 7CC. It was last seen at around noon heading south on Stewart Street. If you've seen this vehicle, please call Carson City Dispatch at (775) 887-2011.
