UPDATE - 3:10PM - Reno Police say the victim’s identity is being withheld pending further investigation. She sustained non life threatening injuries and was transported to the Renown Medical Center for treatment. She is in stable condition.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Reno Police are looking for suspects in an attempted armed robbery on Washington Street.
Police say three individuals (two men and one woman) knocked on the door and said that the people in the residence had their dog. The three suspects then went into the residence and one of the them pulled out a knife in an attempt to rob the residents.
Police say there was two people in the residence at the time and one of them got a small cut on the cheek and a cut to the arm from the knife.
They then fled the residence, but police are unsure if it was by foot or car.
Police say one of the males is described as a white male in his 50’s, 5’6”, medium build, with a mustache and beard and was wearing a black sweater.
The other male is described as a white male in his late 40’s, 5’11”, thin build, wearing a blue jacket and grey shirt.
The female is described as a white female, in her 50’s, 5’10”, medium build, brown shoulder length hair, wearing white top coat with brown pants.
