Police are looking for suspects in liquor store robbery

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Police are looking for three suspects in the armed robbery of a liquor store on Yori Avenue.

On Feb.14, 2013 at about 9am, officers with the Reno Police Department responded to a liquor store in the 900 block of Yori Avenue on a report of an armed robbery.

Officers say that two male suspects entered the store with one suspect displaying a handgun at clerk while demanding money.

The two suspects left with an undetermined amount of money and fled in what was described as a red Isuzu Trooper style SUV with a spare tire on the back.

Video surveillance also shows what appears to be an unknown race male acting as a lookout in front of the business.

Two suspects are described as black male adults. One is said to be around 25, and 5'8 around 220 lbs. The other is about 30 years old, 5'11 and 190 lbs.

The lookout is said to be tall and thin.

Anyone with information should call Secret Witness at 322-4900. Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to arrest.

this is horrible... people are so desperate now a days. i feel like robberies of small businesses are so common now, almost expected. i got a security system from Protect America for my store and it's been fantastic http://www.protectamerica.com/ge-simon-security-systems/wireless-business-security/business-package definitely would suggest it for any other small business owners out there, totally worth it. sorry to hear about this robbery... hope these crooks are caught.
