Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- One man has been placed under arrest after he allegedly attempted to burn down his ex-girlfriend's home.
According to police reports on the incident, the Reno Fire Department was called to the 4100 block of Edrie Drive at around 1:13 a.m. on January 23rd.
When the fire department arrived, they found a flat bed trailer ablaze in the driveway of the building. The fire was quickly put out and investigators determined that it was a case of arson.
After a quick investigation, officials determined that the fire was set by the ex-boyfriend of one of the building's residents, 19-year-old Jesse Bailey, who had set the fire in the hopes that it would spread to her home. On January 24th, Reno police arrested Bailey in the 3000 block of Lakeside Drive. He has been charged with arson, aggravated stalking, and domestic violence.
