Police look for suspect who shot at ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Reno Police are looking for Terrence Hale, the man who allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.

Police say the incident happened May 7 at around 9:15 p.m. at the 2700 block of Plumas Street. Police say the two victims are a 28-year-old female and her 28-year-old boyfriend. The boyfriend was visiting his girlfriend in her apartment when there was a knock at the door from the female’s ex-boyfriend, Terrence Hale. Hale reportedly pushed his way inside and confronted the couple. During the confrontation, Hale fired one shot at the new boyfriend, missing him. Hale then fled the scene and neither victim was injured.

The Reno Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Hale.

Hale is a black male adult who is 32. He is 5'7", with a slim build, short black hair, with tattoos on his neck, chest, back and arms. Hale should be considered armed and dangerous and the public should not approach him should he be spotted.

According to Deputy Avina with Washoe County Sheriff's Office, Hale had a previous arrest from Sparks Police for child neglect and was booked into Washoe County Jail in November 2009.
