Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- 3,400 NV Energy customers were left without power for just under an hour on the morning of March 3rd, 2013.

According to a representative from NV Energy, 3,400 customers in Lemmon Valley, Golden Valley, and parts of Stead were without power starting at 7:25 a.m.

By 8:16 a.m. power had been restored to all customers, with the exception of the Desert Research Institute. DRI's power was restored just after noon.

Investigators say the outage was caused by a blown fuse near a substation in Stead.
